SO WHAT EXACTLY CAN I EXPECT?

If you aren't sure what to expect from your Designer, you aren't alone! Interior Design can be an abstract subject, and every Designer does things a little bit differently.  When you work with me, you can rely on me to communicate my vision in a way that you can understand.  Floor plans are the standard method of visual communication for designers, but did you know there are also other ways we can "communicate" our designs?  Let's take a closer look at how we might do this on your project.

Concept Design

These concepts were created for a client looking to redecorate his living room.  After some discussion and image sharing on Pinterest, I had a good handle on what he wanted to achieve.  I then took some time to myself to come up with a design concept that fit within his budget, and create the following visual options for him to review.  With his feedback, the final design ended up being an amalgamation of both options.

Shopping List

Once the Concept is approved, I create a shopping list that details each piece of furniture/décor to be purchased, including where to buy it, finishes, dimensions, and quantity, so purchasing is quick and easy.

3D Model & Renderings

More extensive renovations or new builds often require more than just a simple concept to communicate key details.  And although a good set of 2D Floor Plans are required for permits and construction, they can be very difficult to visualize in 3D. Using a 3D Rendering program allows us to have a real view into your future space.  We can work through details such as layering views throughout the house to create interest, lowering or raising ceilings to create drama, clarifying millwork details, and just about anything else you can dream up!  The 3D renderings bring your unbuilt project life so that we can make sure we've considered every detail BEFORE the building begins, so that your house is built how YOU want it!
